Join the freelance Simplish network and contribute to our growing lifestyle design brand with your creative vision! We are looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong background in video production, animation, and / or motion graphics to join our fully remote team currently based in Denmark and SoCal. 

You will join us during an exciting moment in our brand development as we roll out an ambitious marketing strategy and expand our network of content creators on the platform. In addition to compensation (DOE), you will have the opportunity to join our affiliate program through your personal social channels and monetize your existing audience.

About Your Role

We are looking for a creative SoMe superstar who will lead our visual communication strategy as we grow our audience beyond users of the highly successful Simplish day planning app, our flagship digital product. This role will take the creative lead in designing the first point of contact with our brand universe through video content, infographics, banners, Social promotions, and whatever other magic you specialize in ✨  

We imagine that you are a professional freelancer with a positive attitude and expansive worldview, perhaps a fan of Marie Kondo, reader of productivity philosophy, and / or former workaholic. 

Compensation is project-based for this role and starts at $800 / month, DOE. Depending on your skills and experience, we expect the responsibilities to fill around 10 hours per week to start, with opportunities to increase your income through affiliate partnership, writing for the blog, and assisting our Marketing Manager with various tasks tailored to your skills and interests. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and executive your creative vision for our social channels!

  • Evaluate our existing accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn) and develop a communications strategy 2.0 in collaboration with the marketing team

  • Post 1 x daily to one of our active platforms based on your proposed strategy

  • Share our positive, compassionate energy through audience engagement, commenting, sharing, following, brand mention replies, liking and all of the things 

  • Coordinate outreach to affiliates, influencers, journalists and brand partners with our Marketing Manager 

  • Design templates and infographics for use across channels and platforms

  • Track and report metrics on all channels to see what content is working and what channels are converting the best
